Moving Patented Medical Products to Market: Millennium Marketing Group Establishes Neonatal Product Group

Overland Park, KAN. - In seeding a new medical products company with angel investor funds, Millennium Marketing Group (www.patentmovers.com) is demonstrating how newly patented products can be moved quickly to market.

Millennium’s latest venture-backed company is Neonatal Product Group, Inc. (www.neonatalproductgroup.com). Which is to develop and market its first patented product, the Neonatal Substrate Warmer, announced Scott Norman, founder and president of the Overland Park, Kansas, international technology brokerage firm. Recently, Millennium Marketing Group set up Allied Surgical Instruments LLC (www.alliedsurgical.net) to do the same for the Versatile™ Laparoscopic Instrument System, a set of improved instruments for surgeons’ use in performing minimally invasive surgery.

“In addition to licensing intellectual property to appropriate larger companies, Millennium also taps into a network of angel investors who are keenly interested in backing entrepreneurial companies holding patented medical and other products as a way to speed their introduction  to market,” notes Mr. Norman. “Over the last nine years, the Millennium business development team has raised and placed millions of dollars in venture capital specifically designated for acquiring and developing markets for intellectual property with a successful track record of moving patents to commercialization and realizing financial rewards.”

Millennium provides a full range of marketing and commercialization services for individual and corporate intellectual property holders of newly patented and patent-pending products and technologies, including resources that are exclusively dedicated to venture-funded license agreements and technology transfer through the development of strategic partnerships for its client/partners.

As Neonatal Product Group’s first product, the recently introduced Neonatal Substrate Warmer assists nurses and caregivers in their responsibilities for safely and efficiently feeding several at-risk preemies and infants at once. Originally designed by a neonatal nurse for use in  NICUs, PICUs, SCNs, and pediatric floors, the innovative Neonatal Substrate Warmer offers significant safety and convenience features. Neonatal Product Group is to emphasize moving innovative ideas through planning, testing, production, marketing and distribution to the benefit of specialized users.
